How to Prevent Fine Lines & Wrinkles

Flawless-SkinIf you started noticing fine lines and wrinkles, then it is most likely that you have dry skin. Your face looks dry, dull and flaky, which can be from lack of exfoliation, especially around the nose area known as the (T-Zone). Exfoliation is essential for dry skin, you should exfoliate your skin at least 1 time per week, be careful not to over exfoliate as this can cause dryness. Fine lines and wrinkles are a main factor of lack of hydration. Fine lines and wrinkles will also be noted in other areas like corner of your eyes, and around your lips. Lack of hydration and even smoking can cause the development of fine lines, which can make you look older than you are also known as (Pre-Mature Skin). Dry skin occurs when the protective barrier of oil in the lower level of your skin starts to break down and water evaporates from the skin into the air. Central heating and cold temperatures are one of the common causes, which is the main reason why most beauty companies are known to sell the most of moisturizers during the months of January. The problem with skin is that it will make you old before your time; not only is it prone to natural wrinkling but UV rays penetrate deeper and into the dehydrated skin, increasing sun damage, which will be noted as spots and discoloration in certain areas. The most important and I would have to say Vital things to do is to get moisture back into your skin and you would be surprised by how just a few simple things can help your skin benefit from moisture, and lack of elasticity.

A good water based moisturizer, with Sunscreen will help stop the process of aging. A great rule of thumb to remember is that applying moisturizer on a daily basis can be the product that makes a difference between dry skin and perfect skin. It is also recommended that you regularly to increase moisture are to apply a face mask that contains moisturizing properties like avocados, and honey. Another way to increase the hydration is to drink plenty of fluids, the normal amount of water intake is between 8-10 glasses of water daily, and the more you drink the better, especially if you are planning to be out in the sun. Another main factor to dry skin is the daily products used; make sure that the products you use do not contain any alcohol or soap, as this will actually cause skin dehydration. The best products to use are products that contain milk or have a creamy substance, if it feels refreshingly oily creamy, then you have a great product. The oily creamy products are a sign that will help feed your skin to keep it moisturized and reverse the signs of aging. It is best to cleanse your face with a cream cleanser that contains alpha or beta-hydroxy acids, as these help increase the cell replacement which slows on maturing skin, the use of alpha or beta-hydroxy cleansers also removes the need for a toner, which can cause more dryness. You can also use a soap that is glycerin based. Always keep in mind that to only cleanse your skin once a day preferably at the end of the day, to prevent dryness, and it is important to remember that re-application of moisturizers especially during the summer hot days can be a great factor to help your skin.

Shoes and Bags Obsession

shoe-and-purse-collectionShoes and Bags Obsession

Believe it or now buying shoes and bags has a great level of satisfaction. I cannot explain exactly why, but it is like an addiction, or more so like an orgasm. Women prefer to shop for a pair of shoes or a purse because it is easier than having to go to the fitting room trying on things you may not feel good about, because you may have gained a few pounds here and there. In the other hand, shoes and purses make a woman feel like she was rewarded, because an exquisite purse positively hollers for attention and admiration, and women love to be admired. I don’t know about you but it feels great. One of my favorite shows to watch is “Sex in the City”, Carrie Bradshaw, aka Sarah Jessica Parker is obsessed with Manolo Blahnik, who can blame the girl. Once you try on a pair you feel like a million bucks, the problem is, they are pricey, that is if you are not looking for the bargain.

Buying shoes although can sometimes be a pain in the neck, and if you’re like me, most of us have a tale or two that starts with us taking our-selves into buying ill-fitting pair of shoes and ends with a Band-aid on our heel, and obviously that’s because if you are like me, we would use the same excuses to buy them. I just need to have them, they are so cute and on sale, although they are ½ a size smaller I know I can stretch them out. It’s kind of funny now talking about. Some of you may be asking yourselves, how do you know if a woman has a shoe and bag obsession? Well it’s pretty simple, if you have more than 25 pairs of shoes and over 20 purses in your closet a few of the same color; well that’s the 1st sign. I don’t know about you, but I am proud to say I am a Shoe and Bags Obsession, and I love it. Although I don’t break my bank buying every week¸ but you need to be careful, or you will end up Broke, like the new Shopaholic movie. I like to see what’s new and I love wearing my shoes and purses. When I feel down, or depressed I go shopping and it makes me feel better, sort of like taking pill when you have a headache after you take it you feel a lot better. So strap on your sandals and take your bag out and get ready to feel satisfied from the minute you start changing your items to the new bag, to taking out the shoes from the box and slipping them on.
